| Garland's first and best
(in my opinion) visit on the Tonight Show. Judy told some very funny stories
and the audience was (to say it simply) berserk for her. Every movement
it seemed brought a round of applause for her. She appeared on the
Carson show the night before her run at the Garden State Arts Theater.
She did not sing on this appearance due to a union musicians strike. |
