John Henson never ceases to amaze me.  He has in his short time on earth, found out more about the ruby slippers than just about anyone I know.  He has offered to let us use some of his wonderful, private collection - never before published ruby slipper pictures on this website.  This page is to thank him for his generosity and friendship over the past couple of years.  Without his contributions, this website would be very limited in the number of actual ruby slipper pictures that we are now able to present for documentation purposes, as well as for simply for our viewing pleasure.

Also, John was responsible for helping to make one of my dreams come true, and for that I will always be grateful.  Through his correspondence with Anthony Landini, John and I were granted an audience with Tony and his wife Ruth for the sole purpose of our getting to see, hold, touch feel and smell Tony's shoes (I have video to prove that he did it!)!

This is something that is very difficult for me to put into words.  How do I simply say 'thank you' for something that I'm sure that I'll remember to my last day, other than to say: Thank you, John.  You'll never fully realize how much what you did, meant to me.  It was definitely one of the high points of my life.
