Monday:  This was my 'tourist' day.  It could be subtitled, "The Country Bumpkin in the Big Apple."  Why take a subway or cab when you can walk 20 blocks?  I had things that I wanted to do since Bill had to work - so I set out with that stuff in mind.  I went straight to Carnegie Hall - I wanted to take a tour of that marvelous place, to be in the middle of it's history, to listen for the ghosts of those that had performed there in the past.  Much to my dismay, they did not have any tours that day.  I settled for Radio City Music Hall.

After that, I started walking.  I had several addresses for places that I thought I might find vintage shoes.  I mean, where else would one be able to find vintage shoes than right here - in New York City!  I went to the first place.  It was all closed down.  Nothing, nada!  I went to the second place on my list and it was now a Chinese restaurant.  It didn't matter.....

Nothing much mattered, because I knew that in less than 24 hours, one of my greatest dreams was about to come true.  Oh my nerves are shot...  Tomorrow is just around the corner.  How will things go?  How will I act?

Will I drive Bill crazy tonight!?  Would he kick me to the curb?!

Arrrrrrrrrrgh!
