This nice 18 inch smallmouth was caught by Guerry Simmons from his pontoon boat on the Saltpeter Cave to Narrow Passage run. Guerry was letting the Sneaky Pete rest about 10 feet from the bank when whammo! Several smallies of this size were caught this year on the James. Nothing pulls and fights with determination like a smallmouth bass. Guerry lost at least one larger than this one. Home Next Previous
